since im only 12, i'm pretty bad at cursive , but still, the only teacher that ever required me to write in cursive was my third grade teacher. and most all my other teachers don't even write in cursive. plus im on the internet alot, and texts nor most other things come across as cursive. in fact, there is only 1 true cursive font.

I generally don't let my letters touch (aside from letting tt's share their cross, etc). I'm sure the poll-creator's handwriting is both impressive and legible, but to me, connected letters seem like a sin against the concept of legibility.

Have you ever looked at a book, poster, or web pages's font and thought, "Gee, this font is kind of illegible... maybe they should have connected every letter and maybe italicized the whole thing!"?

My handwriting is so sloppy bad that use it for fast notetaking, but when anything is really important I revert to printing disconnected capitals.

Can we get the results of this survey?
